So Long Fare well

      Bare with me as I get a little sentimental. Tonight was it, actually last night was; my last musical of high school. For four years I've gone and auditioned conquering nerves and shyness... taking on the stage doing what I LOVE most, telling a story through music and dancing.

     Of course its me and you know I was reminiscing on my years at Heights, which is how I got to thinking about all the musicals I've been a part of and memories that have taken place backstage and on stage.

"Once On this Island" was my freshman year- I was a chorus girl and the only freshman to make the cuts :) 

  

"Hairspray" was the musical my Junior year- I was Tracy Turnblad the female lead :) The funny coincidence was my ex-boyfriend got the male lead and we had to kiss... Talk about AWKWARD! but it was still one of the most amazing moments of my life.

"Sound Of Music" was my senior year- I played the role of Sister Margaretta one of the 3 sisters who likes maria and more famously says "Maria... Makes me laugh". this show was so crazy and my favorite moment was when I had to have one of the guys wink at me so I wouldn't mess up the party scene! 

This chapter of my life is over, and if my life were a musical I believe the last song they would sing would be "So long fare well" at least to these days until later. Guess my dancing shoes will just have to sit in my closet for a little bit. 

House Cleaning

One of the tough things about growing up is saying goodbye to some of the clothes that have seen some of the most amazing day/moments/nights of your life. The other day I was going through my closet; doing some SENIOR cleaning getting rid of clothes that don't fit anymore when I ran across some of these old items that were hard to part with...

The pink one is the first outfit my daddy ever bought for me and the red one was my first christmas present... Its crazy how small I was :O

This is a dress all the way back from when I sang in our pioneer musical All the way back in my elementary grade school! My mom even made this one. 

When We were at Westlink they did all these random fun events and this blue dress is the one I wore to "The Red carpet" event...

Another fun fact about these dresses, there was one photo shoot me and Monica did in these dresses that was UBER cute! 

 This cheetah print dress was designed in my fashion designer phase. I actually hand sewed on the scarf  because the rest of the dress was to plain... it was an old one of my moms. 

This "Popular" little number was used twice... actually 3 times. Once for my part in the 2008 production of ritz for a song called popular, once to get me inducted into thespian society and lastly tin the 2010 production of Falcon ritz with me dressed as  Galinda from Wizard of OZ ....

 Lastly These are my Tee-shirts os dedication to one of the most important series of events that took place in my high school career.... FOOTBALL!!!

I became a little more dedicated after each year

Yep so needless to say they are no longer in my closet and will soon find other more fun loving homes... Ok... So I still have the shirts, but maybe i'll make a quilt or something out of them! I like it .

Another Round

Another year rolls a round and I feel so old. 

This is IT a year of endings (and NOT the world) and a year of new beginnings. 

 This is IT the year I graduate, 2012. It feels weird to say because we've joked in the hallways for so long, but to think its really coming to an end feels almost unimaginable. 

But This is IT The year I readjust and move off to CIU and make a life of my own. 

But if this is IT then I'm determined to make it count even more then I did last year and live it up so that the glory is His. 

January is a time to look back on the past and plan a new future. So this is the end of my year and how I  will remember 2011....

College Visits....

 Becoming Closer friends..

Jumping in a lake with your best friends...

Had my first Prom experience...

Stepped out into the limelight and won a new Guitar....

Threw some awesome Parties...

Fried an Egg on the sidewalk in the Kansas Heat...

 Spent a month of summer In a far, far away land...

Saw a real monk...

 Let my hands be used to love in ways i didn't know were possible... 

 Met another dear dear friend! Who I was absolutely crazy with...

 ate some disgusting food...

 Raised my standards...

 Ate dinner at a castle...

 Went shopping in Germany...

Tasted real european giloto...

 O.. and I sprained my ankle twice...

 Was a counselor to some of the sweetest girls this summer...

 Took a Road trip with the Family...

 Watched many breathtaking sunsets...

 Learned to fishtail...

Had some good old fashioned sibling bonding time...

 Crossed my fingers and was blessed with a job...

Watched my one of my Best friends attend her first year of public school... 

 Acted in a few more shows...

 Celebrated the sugar behind christmas with my Wonderful "sisters"...

 Really, they are the egg to my eggnog... :) 

 Celebrated Our 3rd friendaversary 

 Celebrated christmas with the people I love and care about... watching the young grow up and spending time with those I could lose before next christmas... 

 Studying really Hard...

plenty of skype dates due to our separation...

And when We finally Do get to see each other, It is hard to split back up...

SO if you made it through this really, really, really, really ................................................ really long post it means you know whats going on in my life... weather you are 5,000 miles away or.. just 5 minutes :)
